Spring is coming!

I got the Spring 2013 style guide from JCPenney today and I just realized how excited I am for spring! There is so much cute stuff in store for this spring! I didn't find one thing I didn't like. I mean, I couldn't pull off some of the looks, but none of them were unattractive.

I've been looking at their site for an hour now, and it's got great stuff on there! The thing I love about JCPenney is they have great prices for quality stuff. It's not all high-end designer, but they have a lot of great looking stuff, and they carry a variety of styles so you don't feel like you can't find anything in your style when you walk in.

I need to go there soon... Hmm... Maybe a bit of self reward shopping after this play is over? I think so! :)

By the way that's why I haven't been posting lately. I'm in a production of A Midsummer's Night Dream by William Shakespeare. I play Helena, one of the lovers. (Which is a larger part if you don't know the play very well) So I have been memorizing lines like crazy and I got a part time position at the dream job I have wanted since I was eight. (Yay yay yay!) Needless to say I have been BUSY. The good news is that once the play is over (which it will be in a bit over a week) I can focus more on school and my new job and THIS BLOG. Plus, with a job, that means more money that I can spend on stuff to review and repurpose for this blog! Woohoo!

What are some of your favorite stores for when you're on a budget? What is your favorite thing to do when you get spending money? Shopping? Movies? Candy? Share your answers in the comments section! Stay fabulous!

Shopping Haul

Hey guys!
I finally took pictures of the clothes haul I got during the holidays. The following is each piece and what I have to say about it. I got all of this from JCPenny.

First up: my new red jeans! (These are the Sparkle Skinny Jeans from Truce in red. They also come in blue and purple. Link is right here.) I love these jeans. The denim is really soft, and I love how the sides are dyed black. They are bedazzled, and I usually don't like that, but in this case, I don't think it's too much.

Here's a close up of the rhinestones, and the way the black dye fades out into the red:

Ok, next up is this purple over-shirt. (This one is from Arizona Jean Co. I couldn't find it on the website though, so I can't give you a link.) It's not very thick, and it's not very warm, and it's definitely for warmer weather than we have right now. I tied it up, but it is full length, and long sleeved, but the sleeves can be rolled up.

Ok, here is the Cherry Rose Railroad Corset Cami, also from Arizona Jean Co. This can be found here. This tank surprised me when I saw it from afar, because it's actually made of soft denim. I wasn't expecting that, but it's quite comfortable, and shapes well to my body form because the back is stretchable. (It's all scrunchy because it is sewn with elastic thread. You know what I mean, right?)

Next are my teal pants! These are from B.Wear, and again, I can't find them on the site, but these are close to the same thing. They're super awesome and they make me smile when I wear them. They feel like more of dress pants, because they're 75% rayon, but they have Nylon and Spandex for the other 25%, so they're sturdy but stretchy enough to be comfortable. I personally think that these are great for a casual friday kinda thing, because they do look professional enough to wear to an office, but the color is quite bold. (PS; they do need ironing if you crinkle them up, so fold them nicely and take care of them.)

So that's all I got over the holidays! I will post my next haul very soon, as I did go shopping today, and I got a few awesome things.

Smile on fashionistas! Feel free to comment, I love getting your feedback!

Coated Jeans!

The article of clothing I want most right now: Coated Jeans!

I've looked for an affordable pair, and haven't found much, but I'm still searching. I absolutely love these ones by Sinclair Elon:

I really like these because they have this great spray paint effect, which is very appealing to the eye, plus the fact that the effect is closer to the bottom of the leg gives people a reason to glance at your great new shoes! I would love to rock these sometime soon.

A few others I liked are these one by DL Nineteen Sixty One:
I liked these ones because they have the same sort of fading effect, although these ones have a more gradual color change.

And these by Current/Elliot, which I love because of the edgy worn in look, which gives them character while still being classy:

Below is a Polyvore design I made with a pair of awesome python patterned coated jeans, leather and studs. The items I used are below with links.

I love this studded jacket, especially the eyelets.

$420 - farfetch.com
These just seem so awesome! I love the color too.

$375 - farfetch.com
Ok, who doesn't want a pair of studded high tops?

indressme.com
I like the color on this bag, plus it's simple but can really brighten up an outfit.

$60 - debenhams.com
I love bracelets! I don't have any black leather ones yet though...

fredflare.com
I just thought these were super cute. I am such a nerd so I thought it would be fitting to put in som nerd glasses with an edgy outfit.

Thanks for reading!
PS:
If you have a picture of yourself or a friend rocking some coated jeans, put it in the comments. I'd love to see that!

I'm Back Jack!

Sorry about the hiatus on posting guys! School got crazy and there was a death in the family so I had no chance to post whatsoever. But I'm back so hooray!

So, for my first post back, I want to highlight my current fashion fav with one of my picks, the slouchy beanie! I am in love with the oversized beanie look. It's comfortable, casual, but also great if you're having a bad hair day. If you just put one on and peek your bangs out, you'll look great I promise you!

I wore one today and all I did was straighten my hair and put on the beanie! Here's a picture:

Yay!

Some of my favorites that I've found online would have to be from neff. They have a great selection of different styles and colors, plus they say how functional the hat really is in terms of temperature. I absolutely LOVE their daily double beanies, especially this one:

 You can find it here

It's such a pretty color! Anyways, I got a really cheapo one from a hardware store, but I can't wait to order a nice one. Plus I lost the cheapo one already. Whoops.

Hope you guys have a great rest of your day! Adios!

PS: if you're crafty and want to make your own, there are some great patterns over on Ravelry. Check it out here. Have a wonderful day!
