Black Milk is Doing a Harry Potter Collection!

One of my favorite sites, Black Milk, is doing a HP collection of clothing and swimwear! I'm so excited! Check out their website here, and this video they made to preview the collection.

I mean really, check these out! Dealthly Hallows Leggings!

Awesome, right?

I am SO getting some of this stuff once it's for sale. It's super expensive, but I don't care. I'm getting at least one thing for myself. :) The main webpage has a countdown, and there's less than four days left 'til the sale goes live!!

And always remember: embrace your inner bookworm.

First Day of School - What I Wore

I promised I'd post what I wore today so here it is. Casual, not dressy, and in my style. I absolutely love Mickey Mouse, and pretty much all Disney so the tank was definitely the right choice, and my watch is Mickey too. :)

(This was taken just as I got to school. Thus the funky background.)

Jeans: Delia*s (I got these forever ago, but they're still my favorite)
Shoes: Cohesion 5 by Saucony from Famous Footwear
Tank: Target - Juniors Section
Peace Necklace: Kohl's - On clearance
Sunnies: Target - Dollar Section

Hope your first day back (to school or to work) was amazing! What did you wear? Have you found your favorite new sweatshirt or pair of jeans yet? Tell me in the comments!

Back to School! - First Day Outfit

So we all know there's this whole thing with wearing a nice, brand new outfit on the first day of school. I get that, I mean, who wouldn't want to look nice on your first day?

But here's what I'm doing this year: Dressing comfy. Not even nice comfy, but grungy, casual, around the house comfy. Ya know why? Because I want people to know that I don't care what they think of me. I can wear whatever I want and be happy with myself. Other people might be dressing up so that the first impression of them is a good one. In my opinion, actions speak louder than words, AND appearances.

On the first day, if I'm the one who goes up to the new kid and says hi, welcomes them into our school and sits with them at lunch, they're gonna remember that for far longer than they would remember if I'm wearing brand new shoes or the latest jacket from Hollister. My being kind to them on a scary day when they're prolly worried about everything that happens matters more to me and to them than what I happen to be wearing.

Just some thoughts.

I'll post what I do end up wearing on Tuesday. Comment and show me what you'll be wearing! (Or if you already started school, show me what you'll be wearing on a regular day.)
