Just for Fun - Disney Dudez

Disney movies have always held a special place in my heart because when I was a kid, my sister and I didn't watch cartoons because we had like 3 channels, but we absolutely loved Disney movies. I found this video and it just made my morning. I've seen it before, but for some reason, it's ten times better today. I love that the boys play the princes AND the princesses. It's pinned to my Pinterest board called Yes. Just Yes.

And that's what I have to say about it. Yes. Just Yes.

CONvergence & Costuming

I went to a local science fiction convention (CONvergence) and it was awesome! There were loads of amazing costumes, lots of people, and a great time to be had. I recommend you to check it out, it's an incredible experience! 

I decided to dress up like Babydoll from the movie Sucker Punch. I made my costume myself, which took almost 20 hours all together. I didn't take pictures during the process because it was about two days before Con and I needed to hurry. However, I took a few while I was wearing it that night. (I apologize for the mirror selfies, but I wanted to share these with you.)

What do you think? I altered a pattern for the top and used a basic tutorial for the skirt. I based it on this video's instructions but changed a few things to make it more simple. If you have any questions, let me know in the comments. I'm thinking of making another pleated skirt, so I might do a tutorial on that.

Oh Hai Dere!

Hola errybody!

I've decided to take this blog into a bit of a new direction. I won't be strictly posting fashion stuff because I've been doing some thinking on life the universe and everything (yes, I'm a Geek and I'm proud.) and fashion isn't what's extremely important in life. It's just one of the many things that makes life fun. So, my plan is to bring fun into my blog. How that will manifest itself I'm not sure, but I hope to share some of it with you guys. :)
